After an unsuccessful attempt to escape from his native country and the prison sentence which follows it he gets employed by Pray, the progressive thinker, at a newly established computer centre. It is here that Laci learns to know Anna, the new-leftist university student, daughter of the general manager. Tóth, although he does not favour their relationship, does not oppose it either.

Mais son fils Adam, malgré une médaille d'or aux Jeux olympiques de 1936, ne pourra échapper a l'holocauste. C'est en partie pour le venger que son fils Ivan a choisi de faire carrière dans la politique.

Jan 01, 1959A young priest visits a barber's shop to get shaved. When he leans back and closes his eyes, the barbers decide to play a prank on him. Instead of a male barber they let a female hairdresser take care of the shaving. When the priest feels her soft fingers on his skin, he opens his eyes and sees the woman. He cannot do anything but stay in the chair, as he has shaving cream all around his chin. The woman continues the shaving in a rather sensual way. When the priest leaves the barber's shop, he looks disconcerted.
