Combining Greek popular tradition and magic realist irrationalism, it tells the story of a 17-year-old youth who runs away from his village to find The Enchantress, a beautiful fairy feared by all. Travelling through an enchanted world of ghosts, spirits, imps and fairies, he leans what true love and passion really are.

A biographical film about the great Greek politician Eleftherios Venizelos for the period between 1910-1927. The film highlights his vision of a Greater Greece and refers to important events in Greek history such as the formation of a government by Venizelos after the Goudi movement, his dispute with the King over Greece's stance in the First World War, the temporary his withdrawal from politics after his defeat in the 1920 elections and the Asia Minor disaster. A biography of the former Greek prime minister Eleftherios Venizelos and the recreation of his acts and the political and social climate in Greece from 1910 to 1927.

Durant la révolte crétoise de 1897-1898, une flotte européenne (France, Royaume-Uni, Russie, Allemagne, Italie et Autriche-Hongrie) intervient et occupe les ports de l'île. Rosa Bonaparte est un hommage à Mme Hortense, la prostituée « retraitée » d’Alexis Zorba et donc de Zorba le Grec...

À Smyrne, en septembre 1922, les Grecs ont perdu la guerre, les chrétiens sont massacrés, exilés et déportés par les Turcs. Ilias, dix-sept ans, est arrêté et doit être déporté vers un camp au cœur de l'Anatolie. Ses parents essaient de racheter sa liberté, mais échouent. Il devient le numéro 31328 d'une colonne de prisonniers en marche vers l'est, sous les coups et les brimades des gardiens.

Thomas and Lily, a couple in their mid-thirties with a child, are in the seventh "difficult" year of their marriage. The sudden departure of their household help sets off a chain of explosive situations. Lily refuses to take care of their child and their home. Thomas hires Irina, a 23 year-old foreign hooker, to help out.

Five friends (representatives of the Fifties generation) now in their forties, get together after many years of silence. One shows up from jail, where he has been entering and exiting for years, the other comes from a series of "accidental" murders, another leaves his wife and kids, the fourth one is a wonderer, and the last one, the girl of the gang, comes from a lunatic asylum where she has been hiding for years... All of them are outcasts, tortured from barren love affairs, wounded from the deaths of their beloved friends and betrayed by the politics of their times. They hopelessly try to reconstruct the gang of their puberty, but the revolution is lost... Now, each in his own way, will progress into a journey of death, thus opening a new chapter in the history of their generation.
