Mail and his friends are planning to open up a rice starch noodles (laksa in Malay) in their village. When they heard the news that a new rice starch noodles stall is opening, they decided to have a taste. Amazed by the dish, they decided to learn the new recipe with the owner, Mak Jemah and her daughter, Wati. Initially, Mail doesn't want to involve romantically with Wati, but as time goes by, he is attracted by her graceful manner. A conflict happens that threatens their love affair until Mail discovered something sinister about Wati in the end.

This film revolves around Karl Iskandar, the son of Tan Sri Hisyam Al-Bakri, who comes back to Malaysia to take over his father's business. However, his return has revealed a murder complot of a millionaire, Vincent Cheah, who was killed by Ringgo. Not just that, Iskandar also finds out that there is someone else that is involved in the complot.

The movie centers around Aniq who lives in Penang with his two sisters Aisya and Sabrina. He meets and falls in love with Amelia but that was where problem arose, because of the traditional standards that both families' practices, which require their children to be match-make by their parents to the spouse of their (the parents) choices. Not wanting to give up, the two love birds eventually cooked up a devious plan where they tricked their parents into believing that they are joining a "family adoption program", where Aniq will stay in Amelia's family for some time and vice versa for Amelia to Aniq's family, in hope of winning over the hearts of their potential in-laws. This is, of course, where the fun begins...
