The OCEAN is now on tour for the ninth time. This time we are accompanying, among others, 17-year-old Munich surfer Ben Neumann. They are environmental activists and have one goal: to protect the oceans and their flora and fauna. The fact that this future must begin now is impressively demonstrated by the film "Stolen Fish", which tells the story of two Gambian fishermen and a Gambian fish seller. All three are struggling with overfishing off the West African coast. A story about cause and effect and the associated search for a better life.

Les lignes de tambour appâtées et les filets à requins sont de vaines tentatives pour protéger les nageurs et les surfeurs. L’efficacité de ces méthodes archaïques a été scientifiquement réfutée. Ils représentent non seulement une menace pour les requins, une espèce largement menacée, mais aussi pour une multitude d’autres espèces marines. L’objectif de ce documentaire est d’exposer ces pratiques et de contribuer à une prise de conscience autour de la question pour amorcer un changement mondial, alors que la population de requin ne cesse de diminuer mettant en péril la survie même de l’espèce et de la biodiversité.
