Ravi, a wealthy model, leaves his father's business after unsatisfactory modeling work and returns to his parents' home to join struggle students and revolutionary Manohar.

Roy Kenner arrives in Bombay hot on the heels of dope smuggler Tom Jordan, the man who murdered his partner. Combing the city for clues to Jordan's whereabouts, Kenner crosses paths with 9-year-old Saji. Saji soon helps save Kenner from the lethal drug dealers, and takes Kenner to his home. Love soon blossoms between Kenner and Anasuya, Saji's mother, and Saji comes to see him as a father. But Kenner's obsession with vengeance threatens to engulf this accidental family in tragedy.

Based on a novel by Hindi writer Kamleshwar Prasad Saxena, it centers on a love triangle between two men and one woman on the margins of society. (Summary from Northwestern University's programming notes)

A romantic drama which tells the story of a 20 year relationship between Hari and Aarti - a deaf-mute couple who try to live their lives to the fullest despite their handicaps.

Based on the Kannada novel Bara by eminent writer U. R. Ananthamurthy, the story deals with the politics of famine in Karnataka. An idealistic officer eventually succumbs to bureaucratic apathy - famine relief arrives, but too late. Simultaneously shot in Hindi as Sookha; that version was released in 1983.
