After surviving from an incident of Cruise ship hijacking, both doctor Tamaki and the boy injured in the incident, Ryota Inamoto, suffered from different degrees of PTSD. Meanwhile, Doctor Chiharu Kanbayashi's wife is about to give birth to their first children. Would these doctors and patients succeed in overcoming their problems and welcome a happy new year?

Ichigo no kakera deals with a female manga artist Ichigo Nekoda (Miyazawa), whose career is heading into a downward spiral as she can't reinvent the success of her 12 year old hit the Cherry Road. Now in her early 30's she's become quite fond of alcohol and egoism to some annoyance of her loyal manager Tomoko (Kajiwara), who isn't willing to leave her side even though the financial strains of her client are also becoming her personal burdens. Ichigo still gets greeted by her female fans and willingly signs autographs, but getting praised for work that she's done over a decade ago doesn't digest as smoothly as one would assume. Her on and off man, who happens to also be her editor steers toward the off days more than usual as he also grows tired of Ichigo's uninspired ways. But when the going gets tough, Ichigo heads down to a transvestite bar where she's more than welcomed with words of wisdom and a few hard drinks.

Minugishi Ayumi is a student of Asahina High School, and the lone member of its Track and Field club. She seems hard to speak to, and despite being a good, quiet student, not many people care to know much about her.

A doctor at a prestigious Tokyo hospital is feeling dissatisfied with her life. Though she has a successful career, she sees her friends with boyfriends or husbands and feels like she has missed out on something. Determined to remedy the situation, she meets a charming reporter and quickly falls for him. It seems like her troubles are over, but has she made the right decision?

Hatsumi Kitahara (Akiko Yada) is a 26-year-old dental hygienist living with her father Kyotaro (Kyozo Nagatsuka) and grandmother Hanako (Yoko Nogiwa). Her ideas of happiness is to have an ordinary life, get a job then get married then live life happily ever after. She has been living carefree by herself since she was in college. But six months ago, due to her mother¹s death she has started to live with her father again. Every day is now filled with small conflicts. Hatsumi works at a dental office operated by Ryohei Noma (Manabu Oshio). Her co-workers are all female, further attesting the fact that she has no luck with men. Then one day all of a sudden Ryohei proposes to her. Furthermore Keiichiro Fujita, an IT millionaire, asks her out to dinner. Then she meets her ex boyfriend a second time, which wants to be with her again. Now all of a sudden her surroundings are in a flurry. The father daughter living is now swept up in a wave of upheaval. Hatsumi willy-nilly must now face her "marriage" and "family". The battle for her life and dreams now begins.

Takako Mamiya is a lawyer who quits her job at a prestigious law firm and establishes her own office. She confidently sets out to build her business, but soon her former firm is putting up obstacles and interfering, causing Takako's employees and clients to drift away. She finally puts together a new staff consisting of a college student who knows little about the law, a girl who applied for the job in hopes of meeting a rich guy, a hard-nosed lawyer, and a paralegal who hasn't passed the bar exam yet. Takako reluctantly handles divorce cases with her incompetent crew. For an elite lawyer like her, divorce cases are the most boring and unrewarding cases that exist. Through clashing with her employees and clients, Takako soon becomes a very mature and tough lawyer. "Divorce Lawyer" also tells the story of how difficult it is to judge love and relationships in legal terms.

This is the story of two cops. One doesn't care about getting promoted and wants to be like an American cop. His arrest record is 95% but he has to file a report for just about the same amount of cases because of the way he makes arrests. The other is a clean and cool cop that does everything by the book. The next chapter in this rookie's book is all but written.

Matsushima Nanako a grandi dans une famille très pauvre et est donc déterminée à épouser un homme riche afin de ne plus jamais avoir à vivre dans la pauvreté. Elle est nommée "reine des gokons" dans sa quête pour trouver son homme. Tsutsumi Shinichi est un brillant universitaire (lauréat du prix Fields - équivalent du prix Nobel de mathématiques) qui a abandonné ses études pour reprendre la poissonnerie de son père décédé. Bien que l'idée du mariage lui soit étrangère, Renko fait une rencontre le jour de son vingtième anniversaire et commence à penser sérieusement au mariage.

"Satomi Hakkenden" tells the tale of eight samurai brothers and their adventures, with themes of loyalty and family honor, as well as Confucianism, bushido and Buddhist philosophy. "Satomi Hakkenden" is based off a 19th century 106 volume epic novel written by Kyokutei Bakin. The novel was written over a period of 30 years. Kyokutei Bakin had gone blind before finishing the tale, consequently, dictating the final portions to his daughter-in-law Michi.
