Sur le tournage d'un sombre drame de guerre dans un ancien studio de cinéma, un jeune réalisateur, Toshio Murai, tente de terminer son premier film. Les deux actrices principales, Hitomi Kurokawa et Saori Murakami, jouent les sœurs dans son film. Murai a le béguin pour Hitomi, l'actrice principale chevronnée, et garde une photo d'elle près de son lit. L'actrice plus jeune et moins expérimentée, Saori, est agaçante et aime avoir une récréation sur le plateau. La production du film est constamment interrompue par des événements étranges et les acteurs et l'équipe commencent à être effrayés.

Wan Zhen (Janine Chang) is an editor of a fashion magazine where she is competent that she can do her job successfully but was very clueless in real life. Since her boyfriend Hao Jie (Peter Ho) works from home, he looks after her so well that they adopted a golden retriever (Li La) which drastically changed Wan Zhen’s life that she begins to woke up early and cook for Li La. Fired by the company she works at, and desperate for a new job, accountant Yoshimura Kaoru finds herself taking a job at Paradise Gym - a boxing gym. Through a series of events she ends up becoming the trainer of an old boxer Sawada Ryohei, trying to make something of himself after quitting his well paying job. Although she hates the sport, she finds herself attached to this rude, obnoxious man and they journey forth together to find where it is they both belong.

Qiu Mo Yu is an agent assigned to protect the president's daughter. Her father is suspected of colluding against the president in a terrorist attack. She is determined to prove her father's innocence by investigating the disappearance of the president. She and her lover, Zhou Huai An tackle the case but get involved with some shady characters - Jin Xiang Yu, who is the lady boss of the underworld and Xiao Dao who is a cop that might've gone rogue. Mo Yu and Huai An find themselves getting deeper into something that they never expected.
