L’histoire, jamais racontée, de 7 prisonniers russes, pendant la seconde guerre mondiale, qui ont réussi à s’évader d’un camp de haute sécurité en Sibérie. Cachés dans un petit village d’Ukraine, les fugitifs vont être inquiétés par l’arrivée d’un groupe de soldats allemands dans la région. Ils découvrent cependant que ces nouveaux ennemis ne sont pas des nazis mais de fervents défenseurs de la libération. Russes et Allemands vont ainsi s’allier et collaborer à un des plus grands mouvements de résistance du Front de l’Est.

The people's favorite, the country's best football player Fyodor Cherenkov, is not going through the best period in his life. The only thing that keeps him from despair is his dream of playing at the World Cup. But the head coach of the national team removes him from the team at the last moment. Fyodor is seriously thinking about retiring, but for the sake of his family and fans, he returns to lead his club to the championship and become the best again.

Inspiré du récit du journaliste Vasiliy Koroteev paru dans le journal de l'Armée rouge, Krasnaya Zvezda, peu de temps après la bataille, c'est l'histoire des "28 de Panfilov", un groupe de 28 soldats de la 316ème division d'infanterie de l'Armée rouge, sous le commandement du général Ivan Panfilov, qui a arrêté l'avancée sur Moscou d'une colonne de 54 chars nazis de la 11ème division Panzer pendant plusieurs jours. Bien qu'armés de fusils d'infanterie standards Mosin-Nagant et de mitrailleuses DP et PM-M1910 inutiles contre les chars, et de grenades antichars RPG-40 et de fusils antichars PTRD-41 inadaptées, ils se battirent sans relâche et vaillamment, avec un courage hors du commun et un dévouement sans faille, pour protéger Moscou et leur mère patrie.

An emergency physician is accused of negligence, imprisoned, and banned from practising medicine. Released on parole, he gets a job as an ambulance driver. Being part of the ER crew, he can’t hide his medical expertise and keeps saving lives, even if ‘unofficially’. He only wants one thing — to legally practice medicine again. The life of the ER station consists of dramatic and often unconventional medical cases and tumultuous relationships inside the team. The characters’ life stories are troubled, but love heals all their wounds. Meetings and goodbyes, parents and children, personal dramas: it’s all connected in the show while the characters look for and find ways out of the most challenging professional and romantic situations.

The series takes us through the thorny days of the national hero as the numerous layers of love and hate, pride and shame, great victory and inconsolable loss unfold. The abundance of action and raw emotion enlighten the viewer about the innumerable twists and turns on the path to the final victory of the Red Army and Chapaev's agonizing solitude.
