Interrupted during a robbery, thief Lady Raffles hides in an adjacent mansion and is mistaken for a maid during a party thrown by Warren Blake, who plans to present his mother with a diamond necklace. Also in attendance are Lillian and Dick, two jewel thieves who recognize Lady Raffles and fear that she is there to rob Warren as well. But sparks fly between Warren and Lady Raffles, despite Dick and Lillian's attempts at sabotage.

John Warriner, facing financial ruin, accepts the proposal of a bootlegger, Benedict, to underwrite the business of illegal wine-selling. His daughter, Angela, takes up with the jazz set and is caught in a raid, at a cafe owned by Benedict. Her former sweetheart, Carl Graham, comes to the rescue and saves her from notoriety, while the family struggles back to its former respectability following Warriner's prison term.

Heroine inherits half interest in company, and desiring to learn truth, goes to work as telephone operator in independent garage. Together they force a consolidation with the independents, and find happiness in their love."

Jack Ruby (William Fairbanks), the son of a wealthy family, pretends to be a chauffeur and goes to work for Peggy Howell (Pauline Garon), a beautiful flapper.

A man tries to woo a woman, rescue an orphanage, and bet on the right horse.

Bill Merritt and his pal, Chewin' Charlie, notice a touring car passing them on the road. Soon the car stops, and the party sets out after a jackrabbit wanted by an elderly lady in the car. Bill, realizing the brakes have slipped on a downgrade, rescues the runaway car and its occupant, Mrs. Gordon, and wins the lady's admiration. Invited to the hotel of millionaire mine owner Andrew Gordon, Bill becomes interested in his daughter, Cleo, but is told that the man who aspires to be her husband must possess wealth. That night Bill overhears a plot to take over a strip of land between Gordon's mine and that of his enemy Tom Middleton; Bill and Charlie set out to stake their claim, and after subduing "Fraction" Jack, they register the claim. Bill persuades Gordon to buy out his claim and saves Charlie from claim jumpers.
