In a small town, in 2025, Krsto works for the Agency which offers to listen to people’s secrets. At one of the hearings, Krsto finds out that his client is holding a young girl captive. At the same time, the daughter of the director of a waste disposal company goes missing. Its workers have been on strike for months, with the town slowly drowning in trash. With his activist girlfriend Zora and local reporter Darko, Krsto begins to question his role of a silent witness.

In the autumn of 1991, a small group of Croatian soldiers go on patrol in an improvised armored vehicle. Soon after that they would get ambushed and their vehicle would get destroyed, in that situation they were forced to hide in a nearby house. Whilst stationed in that house they would get attacked by rebel Serbs, Serbian Special Forces and the JNA (Yugoslav People's Army, also reffered to as Yugoslavian National Army). Their resistance to the attackers would last 24 hours whilst their fellow combatants would attempt to try and get them out of there. The movie and story is based on true events which happened during the Croatian War of Independence.

Roko and Boris are getting ready to rob one house in the suburbs. Boris seams to be up to the task, while Roko is having trouble with it. When they ring the door bell, asking for help and claiming that their car broke down, the person who answers the door is, to their surprise, a priest.

People in a little town "Črevo" attend the annual village assembly while the media crew from the new NNHTV interview locals about the European Union and the life of an ordinary farmer.

On the same day several interrelated characters try to change their own lives and, in the process, change the lives of others.

Zagreb Cappuccino is the story of two best friends, Petra and Kika. Both women are in their early forties. Petra, in Zagreb, is getting divorced, and Kika arrives from Cologne to console her. Kika, a cosmopolitan party girl, teaches Petra how to carry on with her life without a husband and a family. Over several cups of coffee and nights out we get to know their fears and problems, their solitude, insecurities and inner strength.

The series will be discussed how the Yugoslav secret service methods mimicked the NKVD, about 2 million files, ie one agent to 10 people), torture, false testimony, show trials, executions without trial, secret places of burial, Titova obsession with the secret services, the structure of the secret service, the awards for the executioners, methods of recruiting staff, collateral victims, etc

The other brother, Kruno, who can’t properly pronounce some words, finds out he has failed his entrance exam at the Faculty of Forestry and his girlfriend has left him. They chose their neighbour Črček, who lives in the same building, to supervise their preparations for studying acting. Črček is one of those characters who can’t do anything right, but at the same time he is likeable, chatty and ready to help.
