This hardcore wrestling extravaganza featured intense bouts, including a memorable final match where Thumbtack Jack emerged victorious in a 200 Light tubes And Panes Of Glass Death Match against Nick Gage. CZW Tournament of Death VII, held in Smyrna, Delaware on May 17, 2008, was a groundbreaking event in professional wrestling. From light tubes and ladders to barbed wire boards and no ropes, the competitors pushed their limits in pursuit of victory. The showdown saw Drake Younger in an ultraviolent divide & conquer 200 light tube lumberjack death match against Brain Damage.

Cage of Death 18 was the eighteenth annual Cage of Death event produced by Combat Zone Wrestling professional wrestling promotion. It took place on December 10, 2016, at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees Township, New Jersey. CZW founder, John Zandig, made an appearance at this event. He was seen selling popcorn and beer at the concession stand and also before the event valeting cars.

After taking the summer off, WSU returned to present the Queen and King of the Ring 2017 Tournament from the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ. This was WSU's final event in the venue. Competing in this year's tournament were the teams of Veda Scott and Jason Cade, Leva Bates and Greg Excellent, Rick Cataldo and MJF, Isla Dawn and Dave Crist, Su Yung and Blackwater, Willow Nightingale and Anthony Bennett, Ray Lyn and Tim Donst, and WSU Spirit Champion Kiera Hogan and Brandon Watts.
