1903, before the Revolution… The Citrillo’s Turns is a pulque bar in Mexico City, in which beings with no present or future gather to drink their lives away and tell stories of the dead and apparitions. Thus is woven a story of real passions –love, betrayal, jealousy, pillage- in an atmosphere of drunkenness and hallucination.

Perros Callejeros is based on the juvenile delinquency of the 1970s and 80s in Spain. The story is set in Barrio de la Mina in Barcelona one of the most conflict neighbourhoods in Spain. The characters chosen were real juvenile delinquents all with criminal records, which the director used to give the film a realistic touch. This film is very powerful and dramatic, it shows how these kids were brought up to survive on the streets.

Gaver Logan, professeur d'histoire, est en Espagne donnant une série de conférences de l'Université de Madrid. Il a depuis longtemps des hallucinations qui lui montrent une femme blonde et une beauté splendide, qui s'habille au Moyen Age et répond au nom de Mariana. La fille apparaît et disparaît, et Gaver croit que tout est dû à un dysfonctionnement de son foie. Au cours d'une conférence, le professeur voit un jeune homme qui ressemble beaucoup à ses hallucinations et qui l'écoute très intéressé.
