In Abruzzo, Giulio, Veronica and their young son Marzio live a happy life. Giulio loves the countryside, Veronica enjoys the quiet life of the city and Marzio wants a little brother. Giulio, however, discovers that he is infertile. His friends are trying to keep the family together.

Gemma works as an employee in the office of an agency that is responsible for launching novice models into their first career steps. However, Gemma does not work in a peaceful atmosphere due to her particularly demanding employer and the harassment she suffers from her own clients. Equally unhappy is her love life, which is why her only friend, as well as her trusted hairdresser, dyes her hair pink. It is from that moment that her life changes radically.

Ciao Darwin is a variety game show format from Italy sold under licence to several countries, including Romania, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Canada, USA, China and Greece. There are two competing teams of about 50 people each, usually made up of people who fit certain opposing stereotypes. In each game two members of the audience are selected at random, one from each team, indicated by a light in front of them which remains illuminated when all the other team members' lights have gone off. The games involve contestants competing in acts of bravery, style and talent, some of which are designed to humiliate the contestants, especially an assault course which was introduced with the Italian version in 2010, and the Finale which is a water tank game.

The Sanremo Music Festival is the most popular Italian song contest and awards, held annually in the town of Sanremo, Imperia, Italy, and consisting of a competition amongst previously unreleased songs. The Festival was the inspiration for the Eurovision Song Contest.
