A story about an upper-class student and a poor servant girl who fall in love despite everyone being against it.

Tar Steam Princess Armada travels along Lake Saimaa to St. Petersburg and back during the years of Russian rule over Finland. The ship's crew gets tired of their sophisticated coffee maker and replaces her with Roma girl Veera, who has escaped from an arranged marriage. On the way back, mysterious passengers appear on the ship.

Dans la campagne finlandaise, un archéologue découvre dans un marais une tombe contenant un corps féminin bien conservé. D'après les autochtones, il s'agit du cadavre d'une sorcière enterrée là depuis trois siècles et qui avait été tuée d'un pieu dans le coeur. La nuit suivante, une belle jeune fille nue surgit, clamant qu'elle est la sorcière revenue à la vie. Les paysans, notamment les femmes, parlent de la remettre dans son tombeau marécageux, alors que tous les hommes du manoir commencent à la désirer follement...

The young Count Martin von Tandenskiöld who has returned from the war is forced into a battle with a Russian colonel after he harasses his bride Karin. Chased by the Cossacks Martin escapes and joins the old wanderer. On the way Martin encounters adventures and beautiful women.
