This medium length feature was produced by the HK TV station RTHK and the Government of HK within the anti smoking campaign. This is the first and unique film written and directed by Leslie Cheung. The movie was made in September 2000. Although many big stars appear in the movie, the budget was very modest: 700,000 HK$!

This is a story of two women and their different ways of dealing with loneliness. Christy meets two new guys after she is dumped by her boyfriend Johnny. A film crew travels to the Hong Kong countryside to make an 'MTV' show. During their stay at the village, the crew hears eerie and horrific voices during the night and witnesses a phantom roaming around the premises. In addition, some feel that their feet were being tickled while in the water performing. The villagers attest that their territory is not haunted, but an old villager, familiar with the village's past, sheds light into the mystery.

The Ching family is an affluent family that produces textiles for the royal family, the govt officials and the army during the Tang Dynasty. Their mission is to find the long-lost illegitimate son of the Tibetan Emperor. The clues to finding this person is a gold butterfly pendant, a piece of jade and a birthmark on the person's chest.

Although Tai Jin-sek has a canine partner, Rocky, he does not get along with his neighbour, Man Wing-long, who is a dog-loving veterinarian. When Wing-long's dog goes missing, she is quick to accuse Jin-sek of being the cause. The dynamics between the two neighbours change when Wing-long's friend, Au Ji-san, moves in with Wing-long and Jin-sek quickly falls in love with her. To complicate things further, Wing-long is also fielding a love interest at work, from a fellow veterinarian, Man Hok-yan.

Dai Fusheng (played by Lin Jiadong), Liu Ersuo (played by Chen Haomin) and Hui Ting (played by Zhang Shenyue) met in an orphanage. The helpless three regard each other as their own family members, and their relationship is very close.
