Through the fault of the Leech, Bibi la Puree and her friend Bob find themselves involved in a crime. The judge in charge of the investigation discovers in Bob a relative. He does not send them to prison and welcomes them to his property.

À Vienne au début des années 1800, alors qu'il travaillait comme tuteur musical, deux élèves de Beethoven sont amoureuses de lui. L'une finit par épouser un comte tandis que l'autre passe des années d'amour non partagé en tant que fiancée.
