Egon plans to exploit knowledge gained during his latest term of incarceration. By stealing the unmanipulated financial records of DanInvest he obtains the majority of the stocks in the department store Magasin du Nord, just in time for their closing sale. The attempt to get the red suitcase that will save the day they rob the main vault at the EEC headquarters in Brussels and end up hijacking a tank.

Young teenager Bo is too sensitive for the hothouse atmosphere of a boarding school run by a cold, unfeeling would-be man of the cloth. Lonely and scared, he finds a soulmate in the headmaster's son Kim with whom he forms a bond of friendship... that slowly grows into something more.

The boy Kim moves with his family from the countryside to a ghetto in a big city. He does not do too well in school, and that makes him an easy victim for the hard core bullies in the new school. When the group leader is moved to a private school, Kim is accepted in the gang - as long as he provides cigarettes for the other members. This of course leads to a confrontation with the school teachers, his family and eventually the gang members.

Matador (Monopoly en danois, mais qui signifie également Chef d'Entreprise) se déroule de 1929 à 1947 dans la petite ville imaginaire de Korsbæk, où les fortunes se font et se défont. De la grande dépression à l'occupation allemande, deux familles d'entrepreneurs s'opposent : celle du banquier Hans Christian Varnæs, et le grimpeur social Mads Skjern. Réalisé par le célèbre cinéaste danois Erik Balling, la série est l'un des exemples les plus connus et les plus populaires de la télévision danoise et représente l'apogée du développement des séries télévisées danoises par la chaîne de service public Danmarks Radio.
