A private eye is hired to go undercover at a health farm, but before he can find out why his client is murdered.

When London-born performer Anna Russell decided to combine her well-oiled comedic timing with her classical training as a lyric soprano, she quickly earned the moniker "Crown Princess of Musical Parody." This collection of Russell's television appearances from 1964, 1976 and 1977 includes interviews, renditions of classical and rock 'n' roll songs and sidesplitting routines on the bagpipe and French horn.

The Emperor of Japan is scheduled to visit the small fishing village of Titipu for the annual cherry blossom festival. Unfortunately, during the ceremony the town tailor, Koko, winks at the pretty Kataisha, who is to be the wife of the Emperor's son Nanki Poo. Koko is promptly arrested and thrown in a dark, dank dungeon and sentenced to death for disrespecting the Emperor. Things look bleak for Koko until Nanki Poo falls in love with the lovely Yum Yum, and Koko gets caught up in a scheme to deceive the Emperor.

The Ed Sullivan Show is an American TV variety show that originally ran on CBS from Sunday June 20, 1948 to Sunday June 6, 1971, and was hosted by New York entertainment columnist Ed Sullivan. It was replaced in September 1971 by the CBS Sunday Night Movie, which ran only one season and was eventually replaced by other shows. In 2002, The Ed Sullivan Show was ranked #15 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.

Alvin Purple was an Australian television situation comedy series made by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1976. The series followed continued adventures of the title character, previously featured in successful sex comedy feature films Alvin Purple and Alvin Purple Rides Again. Graeme Blundell reprises the role of Alvin in the series. Alvin cohabitates with a new character, flatmate Spike. As in the films various women inexplicably lust after Alvin. The women were played by a stream of recognisable Australian actors in guest starring roles including Tina Bursill, Jackie Weaver, Belinda Giblin, June Rich, Jane Harders, Pamela Gibbons, Kirrily Nolan, Peta Peita, Judy Lynne, Suzanne Church, Carla Hoogeveen, Chantal Contouri, Anya Saleky. Dawn Lake and Leonard Teale also acted in the series.
