Pilar, Charito, Meche and Cristina are four dear friends who love timba. When they learn that one of them has cancer, they make a plan to take a trip north.

After the loss of their mother, a dysfunctional family is pressed to re-examine their lives. As father and children come to terms with their own existence, this journey turns into a tender and subtle meditation on grief.

The movie follows the life of Enrique Aet, an engineer whose main obsession is to improve communications between the Peruvian jungle and Lima.

A family longs to be on a TV show which does in-depth exposés of different real families every week. When they are finally selected they decide to change their lives completely so that the audience sees them as they want to be seen, not as they really are.

Lima. Une épidémie foudroyante s’est propagée dans la capitale Péruvienne. Eusebio est un homme solitaire dont le métier est de déblayer les rues de la ville, encombrées par les cadavres. C’est un "nettoyeur" (un "limpiador"). Sa solitude va basculer lorsqu’il rencontre Joaquín, un enfant devenu orphelin et qu’il va être contraint d’aider à retrouver son père. Mais la mort peut l’emporter à son tour, à tout moment… Une histoire unique de tolérance et d’amour va naître entre les deux personnages.

After spending ten years in prison accused of terrorism, Milagros is found not guilty and is released. During her detention, she was raped and became pregnant. Noemi, now a ten year old girl, believes her mother has been working abroad all this time. The film begins the day both meet.
