Hossam, an Egyptian tour guide working in the US, comes to Egypt on vacation during New Year's Eve and hopes to spend a romantic night with his wife in their hotel. Unbeknownst to him, Awadain the terrorist who has other plans for the hotel that night.

Family secrets is the first Egyptian movie openly discussing homosexuality. "Based on a true story", Marwan who is a homosexual goes through a spiral of despair after coming out to his sister who gets him to seek to understand and treat his homosexuality, he now has to deal with religion, society and psychiatrists and gets tested to the limits

The film's events revolve around twins separated by days, each of them raised in a different environment. One was adopted by a dancer and lived with her in a poor, marginalized life in a slum area, and the other was adopted by a good, high-ranking family, and the first became a drug dealer and the second a police officer.

The events of the film takes place on new year's eve of 2009 in the Red Sea at a resort near the city of Hurgahda inside the world of the wealthy where difficult situations and crises happen when they get together.

The events revolve around three newly graduated doctors renting a small apartment and turning it into a triple clinic despite the different specialties, which leads to many comedic situations.
