The film is an attempt to recreate the world of Marc Chagall and his myth within the genre of a folklore ballad. We are not exploiting Chagall's images, but are attempting to create a dramatized projection of his creativity onto the movie screen, relying on both, facts and fantasy (as Chagall himself would).The story is based on real events which occurred at the time of Chagall's short-lived period in Vitebskin in 1917-18, during which time he creates the Academy of Modern Art, inspired by his dreams of a bright and beautiful future. Many pictures by Chagall and Malevich are used in the film.

In the last winter of WWII a group of captive German soldiers is brought to a remote Russian village, where widows, a child and a crippled are the only ones left. This is a military drama about those, who can love and forgive.

Arriving on an excursion to St. Petersburg, classmates Dana and Lyova witness the theft of the famous "Chizhik-Pyzhik". Courageous schoolchildren rush in search of kidnappers, hiding from teachers, parents urgently summoned from Yekaterinburg, policemen and even from themselves.... "Peter the Great".

The story of a couple who is too late to date, but too early to marry. Tyoma and Nika together for more than a year and they have good time together. But they are frivolous and not too serious about everything. They do not want to repeat the life of their parents: first job at 18, wedding at 20 and family and three children at 25. But to prove to the parents and themselves that they are ready for independent living, Tyoma and Nika decide to move together - they have Nika's grandmother's apartment. Nika's father can not tolerate Tyoma, but allows them to live in this apartment. Everything would be fine if this apartment were not located just a few floors below the apartment of Nika’s parents. Now they are waiting for all the delights of adult life: the search for work and food, quarrels about stupid things, annoying rich neighbors, and so on. Will a civil marriage break infantile and merry for Tyoma and Nika? Or will they learn an independent life and their love will only get stronger?
