Une infinité de moyens de transport (ballon, bateau, train, éléphant…) leur permettra d'enchaîner une très longue suite d'étapes (Paris, l'Espagne, le canal de Suez, Calcutta, Hong Kong, San Francisco, New York…). Mais, dès Suez, Fix, un policier, va pourchasser les deux héros.
