Madeinusa is a girl who lives in an isolated village in the mountains of Peru. This strange place is characterized by its religious fervor, and seemingly odd custom: from Good Friday at three o’clock in the afternoon to Easter Sunday, the whole village can do whatever it feels like.

In the last days of 2012 everyone is talking about the end of the world. This doesn't seem to affect the routine of Wachi, a grumpy watchman. However the arrival of Tesla, an impulsive fifteen year-old girl, does. Tesla, Wachi, an a lively 80 year old called Trini, spend the last days of 2012 together, sharing a bond despite, their differences.

Sistu and her small community in the Andes discover the magic of cinema. This meeting causes a stir but also confronts them with their culture and highlights the limitations of the community to understand and read Spanish. As a solution, they choose Sistu so that every week he goes to town to see a movie and tells it to everyone in the square.
