Apprenant l'implication de son ennemi juré Donnie Wilson dans un audacieux vol de diamants en Belgique, Nick O'Brien, shérif à Los Angeles, s'envole pour l'Europe. Il repère rapidement Donnie à Nice et, jouant le jeu du flic en instance de divorce désabusé et pourri, le convainc de l'intégrer dans sa bande. Ce mensonge le sauve momentanément puisque l’un des chefs du camp souhaite apprendre le farsi pour ses projets d’après-guerre. Au risque de se faire prendre, Gilles invente une langue chaque nuit, pour l'enseigner au capitaine SS le lendemain. La relation particulière qui se crée entre les deux hommes ne tarde pas à éveiller la jalousie et les soupçons des autres...

Antoine D'Agata, Magnum photographer since 2004, is in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where his artistic trail seems to reach an utmost point. After devoting himself to depicting desolated landscapes and borderline realities, D'Agata focuses his art on his intimate human relations. His latest work focuses on body and flesh, in a narrow room. This film catches the hidden part of his art making; his choice of living on the edge and experiencing sex with extreme vitality. It is an apocalyptic and sublime journey, similar to the ones of other heretic artists of contemporary culture, from Jack Kerouac to Antonin Artaud, from Francis Bacon to Pier Paolo Pasolini.

Sergione, a fifty-year-old tattoo artist weighing 260 kg, has lived all his life in the working-class Palermo district of Bosco Grande. He was one of the city’s legendary punks, rebelling against the mafia culture of the 1980s. Thirty years later, he’s still sitting outside his mother’s house, doing drugs and partying with his street friends. Every time Giuseppe Schillaci returns to his hometown, he goes and listen to his tragicomic anecdotes and longings for escape. As the seasons go by, he watches Sergio deteriorate. In mortal danger, Sergio goes to a specialized center for super-obese people, from which he flees a month later. Back in Bosco Grande, true to his punk mantra: “Live fast, die young,” he once again gets bogged down in the morbid spiral of his addictions.
