Hiyoko Hoshino (Aika Hirota) dreams of becoming a princess of the cookie world. One day, she is sucked into a donut hole and arrive in an animated world. She meets a girl named Tamako-chan and the creature Kokkubo. Hiyoko Hoshino visits the animation world everyday, but Tamako-chan dwells in Hiyoko Hoshino's body. Then, Tamako-chan enters this world and they begin to live in turns.

Underground people who exhale toxic gas appear in Tokyo's S-Ward, which is dealing with construction noise from urban development projects. Everyone panic, but it turns out that five middle-aged guys are unaffected by the poisonous gas. They undergo vigorous training to fight the underworld people, but are they going to be able to save the world…?

Story follows high school student Saki Miyanaga and her classmates as they become absorbed in the game of mahjong. They target an upcoming national competition.

There was once a high-tech robot which saved the earth from aliens. People have long forgotten how to operate this giant machine and it has been placed in an isolated ghost town. Professor Tachibana believes in the mobility of this machine and won't give up in finding a suitable pilot for the robot. However, one day, he finds out that the robot became the gathering space for eight middle school girls!

Miyanaga Saki, a first-year student at Kiyosumi High School, lacks enthusiasm for mahjong and plays it so that it will end with neither a win nor a loss. One day, she is influenced by Haramura Nodoka’s genius mahjong tactics and decides to join the mahjong club. Nodoka is the titleholder of the national junior high school mahjong tournament. Together with Nodoka and the other club members, Saki contends for the title against formidable opponents.

42-year-old Utsumi Takayuki works for Second Division of Hinode Advertising's Planning and Sales Department. He was transferred from the General Affairs Department one year ago, but he keeps delivering the worst sales performance. Utsumi is not eloquent, poor at dealing with things and is a pushover too. He always gets reprimanded by his boss Dozono Shoko. His only pleasure is skipping work, going to the public bath in the day on a weekday and gulping a beer down his dry throat after that. Utsumi cannot resist the temptation when he sees a public bath during working hours despite his sense of guilt. On this day too, he calls his company with the excuse that he has urgent business and walks through the door of a public bath in high spirits. When he pays the fee, takes off his suit and enters the bath, the best moment awaits him.
