Le premier de nombreux films mettant en scène les aventures légères de deux chauffeurs de camion. Momojiro et son meilleur ami Kinzo prennent la route sur leurs camions de fret, s'impressionnant mutuellement par leurs compétences à conduire vite et à échapper à la police tout en transportant des marchandises à travers le pays. Les rencontres fortuites avec des gens en cours de route les aident à accepter les événements qui assombrissent leur passé et leur offrent une chance de rédemption.
