Pepi decided to test the power of an old friendship. As midnight approaches, he calls five of his childhood friends with an invitation to dinner. Some scold him, others promise to come, others rejoice. Eventually, everyone gets together for an impromptu dinner.

The film takes us back into the times of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom - 13th century. The Bulgarian Emperor - Tsar Ioan Assen - is trying through several marriages to enlarge the State and to support the peace in it.

A famous metropolitan journalist decides to pay a surprise visit to his classmate Pancho in the countryside. Pancho has gone to town and his wife has to greet the guest. Under the curious eyes of the neighbors, the two are waiting for him to come back home. The awkwardness between them intensifies. How will they sleep under one roof? What will people say?

The title of the film is taken from the popular Bulgarian song. This is a film about the life of a common Bulgarian worker. The action focuses on his family, his relatives, and his friends.

A Bulgarian comedy

LIAISONS is a modern dramedy, telling the story of the affairs and relations within a family and beyond; the ongoing search for love and the various ways of getting it today. The series follows the love life of one famous architect with impeccable reputation (Mika, 43), her husband - former coroner, and a marriage counselor now (Tony, 48), and their family. Its numerous members are being tingled in complicated affairs, which consistently add dirty secrets and embarrassing stains to the biography of the "perfect" family. The grounds are seriously endangered. Could Mika and Tony manage to stay together, or will they indulge to the temptations, which skulk from the outer world?
