Emilia, a young widow, is traveling by river to Islandia with her young daughter, Irina, in the 1950s. Because the river is low, they are stranded in Santos, a small town in the Peruvian Amazon. The time they spend there is enough to change the course of their lives. Emilia is the first teacher the town has had. Fifty years later, her legacy remains.

The film centers around the drama of Karina, the sole survivor of a series of brutal murders, however, she has lost her memory due to the trauma she endured. With the intention of discovering the author of the masacre, she initiates an investigation that will lead her to uncover more secrets.

The fate of an arm-wrestling match leads two rival brothers on an adventure through the streets of Lima, Peru. Armed with the spoils of victory, the boys must navigate many obstacles that stand in the way of their goal: a house party on the other side of the tracks and the hope of lost virginity.

Dans une région reculée du Pérou, Segundo, un jeune garçon de 14 ans, se prépare à suivre les traces de son père dans l'art traditionnel du retable. Cecilia, a Mexican immigrant, learns from her doctor that she has a benign cyst that will disappear on its own. When the doctor mentions that sexual intercourse could speed up the process, she realizes she hasn't had sex in five years. That night, her friend Josselyn takes her to a dive bar to 'fill her prescription.' But when the two women go home with some suitors, Cecilia will make a surprising discovery of what's really been ailing her.
