A la recherche de la paie des mineurs dérobée sur une diligence de la Wells&Fargo, le détective Johnny Mack Brown cherche à obtenir un emploi de façade au ranch Daley, lequel est emprisonné pour le vol. Au ranch, il est reçu par Lois Benton, qui prétend que Dailey lui a laissé pleins pouvoirs sur son ranch durant son incarcération.

Le Marshall Lash La Rue et son assitant Fuzzy Q. Jones sont envoyés en mission par le Colonel Winston pour neutraliser un gang de hors-la-loi qui opère dans les environs de Rhyolite, une ville dirigée par un ambitieux homme d'affaires, Duce Rago. Jimmy tombe dans un piège tendu par Texas Kid qui lui vole ses vêtements et sa lettre d'introduction auprés du personnel de la mine. Se faisant passer pour Jimmy, le Kid tente de se faire remettre un chargement d'or, mais essuie un refus et s'échappe aprés avoir tué l'employé et laisser la lettre de Jimmy.

Caxton has broken out of prison and Eddie has been sent to bring him in. Caxton is known by the polka dot band on his hat and Eddie has Soapy wear one like it. This gets Soapy arrested as soon as he rides into town but it leads Eddie to Varney and he realizes Varney will lead him to Caxton.

A Pony Express rider discovers some mysterious goings-on during the construction of a telegraph line. When a murder is committed, he is blamed for it.

Filmed back-to-back with three other Sunset Carson vehicles in 1947, this Yucca Pictures Western starred the former Republic cowboy as a Texas Ranger chasing a gang of rustlers into the notorious outlaw territory of Three Corners. Attempting to sabotage the proposed annexation of the territory, desperado Bart Dawson (Stephen Keyes) and his men ambush Sunset and his young trainee Jed (Al Terry). The villains, who have been terrorizing pretty trading post operator Helen Bennett (Patricia Starling), are eventually defeated by the rangers in a violent gun battle and the planned annexation takes place on schedule. For all intents and purposes, the handsome but wooden Sunset Carson ended his screen career with this series of extremely low-budget Westerns, originally filmed in 16mm and released by that dumping ground of Poverty Row flotsam, Astor Pictures.

When Eddie and the boys catch three of Dawson's men destroying telegraph equipment, the Judge releases them and this leads to the showdown between the two sides.
