Kyle Lord est un travailleur américain émigré en Russie. Après un coup de téléphone de sa femme, visiblement agressée, il se précipite chez lui, mais arrive trop tard. La loi niant l’évidence, il décide de se faire justice lui même, et tue le meurtrier de sa femme. Il est alors envoyé dans une des plus dures prisons de Russie. La seule occupation des détenus est l'organisation de combats...

The story largely centers on a grandfather who finds himself deeply depressed by the dramatic downward turns Bulgarian society has taken. The changes of the past half century have created a deep communications gap between generations and he is unable to communicate with his troubled son. Nor is the old man able to do much to help his grandson who is making his first forays into criminal life, blaming it all on his mother who admits she is incapable of loving him. The grandfather tires of life with the bleak family and so goes to an old folks home. But that proves repressive, so he and a couple of friends leave to enact a money-making scheme. When that fails, the old man finds himself alone and destitute on the rough streets of Sofia where his despairing eyes witness the further ruination of his homeland.

A story about three brothers, Petar, Angel and Vasil, each one joins the fight against fascism in his own way.

Being part of the 2013 anti government protests in Bulgaria the talented Pr creator Boyden confronts a choice- to help nursing his dying demented grandfather or fight for his unjustly lost job. He goes back in his communism infested home to understand that to help the old man he has to fight his alcohol dependence first. On the way of bringing his life back together Boyden has to make another choice.

Two young couples decide to spend some vacation days on a small uninhabited island. Alas, soon they'll find out that the place turns to be not so isolated.
