Felix âgée de 11 ans a des difficultés d'adaptation depuis que sa mère a déménagé aux États-Unis pour un nouveau travail. Pour son premier jour d'école Félix veut rester concentré sur ses cours jusqu'à ce qu'un groupe d'élève s'en prenne à lui en l'enfermant de force dans une pièce interdite d'accès et soit disant hantée par le fondateur de l'école. Cependant pris sur le fait, par la directrice de l'école, il essaie de fuir et la fait rétrécir par magie.
