Reserved, intelligent and generous, Leo has achieved professional success and now lives secluded in Serra da Cantareira, alongside young Karina. He discovers that he is ill, and decides to reunite the old friends of the 1970s, with whom he fought the military regime.

O Profeta is a Brazilian soap opera that was produced and aired by TV Globo between October 16, 2006 and May 11, 2007, and totaled 178 chapters. Thiago Fragoso and Paola Oliveira as the protagonists of the plot, Fernanda Souza, Rodrigo Phavanello, Juliana Didone and Daniel Ávila and co-starring Carol Castro, Dalton Vigh, Samara Felippo, Nívea Maria and Malvino Salvador as antagonists.

The series exhibited several stories based on folklore and mythology , with characters such as Cuca, Saci Pererê and Iara from Brazilian folklore and then later with several characters from fairytales, fables, literature and greek mythology. The residents of Sítio, Emília, Narizinho, Pedrinho, Dona Benta and Tia Nastacia live several adventures with a lot of the mystery and dangers that haunt the remote town of Arraial do Tucanos.
