Erikson parvient à s'échapper, mais, gravement contaminé, il va alors subir une terrible mutation... Responsable de son arrestation, le lieutenant Tom Randall va suivre les traces de cette créature mutante assoiffée de sang. Compagnon de Jennifer, Tom va également constater les transformations inquiétantes de la scientifique, dont la transformation se fait plus lentement...
