Kanaka is a 2018 Indian Kannada romantic action film directed by R. Chandru. It features Duniya Vijay, Hariprriya and Manvitha Harish in the lead roles along with P. Ravishankar, Rangayana Raghu and Sadhu Kokila in key supporting roles.

The film stars Vasishta Simha and Manvitha Harish. The film is set to release on 24 January 2020.

The film is the narrative which emerges through various decades, encapsulating the lives of four people and their love lives while sending across a strong message relatable to the common man. Four individuals, each with their own dreams and aspirations, land up in jail. They meet a school teacher who not just shows them hope but also stirs up a passion towards reform.

The film is, ironically, about the breakdown of a marriage that began with love. Although the skillful blending of the mystery and relationship drama revolves around the couple, a motley bunch of characters keep cropping up, saying and doing bizarre things that may not always make sense, but as the plot unfolds, it all transforms into a psychological game of 'what' and 'what next?' In short, it's a nail biting psychoanalytic thriller shows the troubling inner workings of a toxic marriage reveal themselves in surprising ways after one of the couple's feuds spins out of control.
