A dancing instructor goes to a married woman's home, to giver her lessons, while her husband is absent. He leaves and goes to a poker game. The husband is one of the players, and the instructor, not knowing who he is, shows her picture around the table. This prompts a round-table discussion in which none of the standard rules for civility is part of the discussion.

Evelyn's uncle gives a party to announce her engagement to the suitor he has approved, but she decides to elope with Oscar. Oscar pal goes along to help, but his sweetheart sees them and thinks he is the one eloping with Evelyn.

Young farmboy leaves for the big city to get a job and find his sister; both of them get involved with drug dealers and become opium/cocaine addicts.

The film begins with Snub and Fat (yes, that IS the politically incorrect and cruel name given to Snub's partner in this and several other films made for the Weiss Brothers) want to make a few bucks. The film begins with them doing some maintenance sort of work--with Fat on a ladder and Snub sweeping outside. When this doesn't work out, a random stranger just happens to walk up to them and offer them HIS MOTHER'S CAR and asks them to make a delivery.

A pair of rail-riding bums exit their boxcar in the town of Excema, where they get work as waiters and have trouble with clams, bottles of beer, and pies.

Johnny Harron is watching the Hollywood fire department football team playing a game and decides that he can round up some Hollywood actors that could beat the firemen. Since Johnny Mack Brown is about the only person in the film that even looks like he could play football other than Johnny and stuntman Joe Bonomo, it’s doubtful that the team Harron put together could even beat the Our Gang football team! So, Betty Compson, anxious to see her Hollywood friends win the game, keeps phoning false alarms to the fire department. A Hollywood Thalians Club short.
