Set 2,000 years ago in Ireland, SAWIN focuses on the origins of Halloween. Shot during October, SAWIN is possibly the most disturbing and haunting film produced by Mourningside Productions.
What begins as a night filled with nostalgic happiness, transforms into something much more sinister, as the daylight begins to fade. And as the sunset casts a shadow on the neighborhood, it provides and ideal backdrop for he who roams it's alleys.
Growing up, Paul was carefree and full of life. He would spend countless hours playing in the oak tree in his backyard. He spent so much time out with that tree that his mother would tease him saying they were bonded for life, and for a long time, he believed it. Time passed, Paul grew up, moved away and settled into monotonous adulthood filled with responsibilities and routine. A job he hates, a wife that hates him and no end in sight...
While moving into a new home with his parents, young Clive discovers a mysterious record player and a single vinyl tucked away in the attic. Sitting alone in the dark, he plays the record and is greeted by a strange narrator. The ghoulish voice at the end of the record needle proceeds to tell Clive three terrifying stories to test his bravery, while determined to scare him into submission.
