The nine year old Larissa lives in the Luneburg Heath. She is in the clique "The Timies", which is devoted to historical events and facts. In this summer holidays, Larissa's cousins from Berlin are visiting the Luneburg Heath for the first time. From now on, Emma more and more realizes that she disposes of a mysterious talent. By touching antique objects she is able to look into the past of these things. Will they be able to find this treasure? And what has this shining crystal appearing in Emma's visions to do with it?

This short follows Gregor Samsa from Franz Kafka's "The Metamorphosis". It is set in the modern world and shows the events leading up to Kafka's metamorphosis. Gregor is a young man working for a textile company, who breaks down mentally after his job becomes overwhelming. He slowly loses his sanity and touch with reality.

Carlos Benede, la trentaine et célibataire, aide les mineurs à s’en sortir après un crime. Alexander est un enfant précoce et déterminé de onze ans. Quand son père tue sa mère, Benede guide Alexander et une relation forte se crée entre eux. Lorsque le procès du père d’Alexander est terminé, il est temps pour eux de se séparer. Alexander est alors placé chez une tante éloignée, mais lorsqu’elle ne peut plus s’occuper de lui, il est placé en foyer. Quand un conseiller de l’aide à l’enfance apprend qu’Alexander a confiance en Benede, qui a lui-même grandi dans un foyer, il les réunit. Bien que ce ne soit pas toujours facile, leur relation évolue en une relation père-fils.

Story happens in the first days after NATO troops enter Kosova. After the signing of the military agreement in Kumanovo, in the house of the retarded, the guards and employees leave their places and flee. Inmates are all retarded but they have a special philosophy of life, they have their wishes and their dreams. Being free gives them a chance to make dreams come true, but they are confronted with a reality and environment, which in one way or another is very different. From the moment of getting out the fences, they are conflicted with people that call themselves free. Gradually this conflict roughens and with it degenerates the meaning of freedom. There are three main characters, Kukum, Mara and Hasan.

Con artist Maik Schäfer switches his fake conductor's suit for a real soutane while trying to escape custody and ends up in the catholic parish of Läuterberg. Standing in for Vicar Sanman, Maik participates in the parish members' fates and fortunes, and deals with their problems in his own unconventional way.
