Par un beau soleil, Kate Mackay se démène sans compter entre sa maison, son mari et ses enfants chéris, 4 garçons, qui lui en font voir de toutes les couleurs. L'horrible maison à la campagne a besoin d'être retapée de fond en comble et le mari, critique dramatique à la plume venimeuse, voit les pièces dans les pires conditions, au milieu des spectateurs. Mais sa réputation de critique avisé va en prendre un coup le jour où, assistant à une pièce qu'il a lui-même écrite il y a plusieurs dizaines d'années, il reçoit la monnaie... de sa pièce.

Novembre 1956 en Hongrie. Lors de l'insurrection de Budapest et de la répression soviétique qui s'ensuivit, plusieurs étrangers, dont des Américains, des Britanniques et des Français, sont immobilisés à l'aéroport de Budapest, car tous les vols sont suspendus et l'aérogare doit être évacuée. On leur annonce qu'ils vont être conduits en autocar en Autriche. Lorsque leur véhicule arrive au village frontalier hongrois de Mosan, des soldats de l'armée soviétique l'empêchent de passer en Autriche, car ils établissent un poste-frontière de contrôle sous les ordres du commandant Surov. Parmi les voyageurs, Surov remarque la séduisante lady Diana Ashmore, accompagnée de son compagnon qui prétend être un Britannique nommé « Henry Fleming », mais dont l'identité éveille les soupçons du commandant (il s'agit en fait de Paul Kedes, un dissident hongrois blessé et en fuite). Il n'en faut pas plus à celui-ci pour assigner les voyageurs à résidence dans une auberge...

Dany Edwards, directeur de la publicité commerciale dans une grande firme, est complètement absorbé par sa tâche qui lui fait négliger femme et enfants. Comme il n'a guère de temps à sa disposition, il charge son meilleur ami d'acheter le bijou qu'il compte offrir à Valerie, pour leurs 19 ans de mariage. Mais le soir venu, Dany oublie complètement la date fatidique. Valerie, furieuse, finit par lui pardonner grâce au voyage au Mexique que Dany lui promet d'entreprendre avec elle. Arrivés dans ce pays, ils tombent sur un homme à tout faire, tant spécialiste du mariage rapide que du divorce instantané. Comme Valerie et Dany en profitent pour se disputer, notre homme les convainc de divorcer vite fait...

The Andy Griffith Show is an American sitcom first televised on CBS between October 3, 1960 and April 1, 1968. Andy Griffith portrays the widowed sheriff of the fictional small community of Mayberry, North Carolina. His life is complicated by an inept, but well-meaning deputy, Barney Fife, a spinster aunt and housekeeper, Aunt Bee, and a precocious young son, Opie. It has been ranked by TV Guide as the 9th-best show in American television history. Though neither Griffith nor the show won awards during its eight-season run, series co-stars Knotts and Bavier accumulated a combined total of six Emmy Awards. The show, a semi-spin-off from an episode of The Danny Thomas Show titled "Danny Meets Andy Griffith", spawned its own spin-off series, Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., a sequel series, Mayberry R.F.D., and a reunion telemovie, Return to Mayberry. The show's enduring popularity has generated a good deal of show-related merchandise. Reruns currently air on TV Land, and the complete series is available on DVD. All eight seasons are also now available by streaming video services such as Netflix.

Have Gun – Will Travel was created by Sam Rolfe and Herb Meadow and produced by Frank Pierson, Don Ingalls, Robert Sparks, and Julian Claman. There were 225 episodes of the TV series, 24 written by Gene Roddenberry. Other contributors included Bruce Geller, Harry Julian Fink, Don Brinkley and Irving Wallace. Andrew McLaglen directed 101 episodes and 19 were directed by series star Richard Boone.
