Arun, a famous Bengali actor, approves Shuvobrata's proposal of remaking Satyajit Ray's famous film 'Nayak'. Problems arise when Shuvobrata requests his live-in girlfriend Shrin to act opposite Arun.

Peu de temps après leur mariage arrangé, Ashoke et Ashima quittent Calcutta pour New York. Etrangers l'un à l'autre comme à ce nouveau pays, ils s'efforcent de s'adapter. Ashima donne bientôt naissance à un fils qu'Ashoke baptise du nom du célèbre auteur russe, Gogol. Jeune Américain de la première génération, Gogol doit se forger sa propre identité entre ses racines bengalies et sa nationalité américaine. Attiré par le mode de vie qui fait son quotidien, il rejette ses origines et fréquente une jeune Américaine. De leur côté, Ashoke et Ashima s'accrochent à leurs traditions... Pour Gogol, chaque situation provoque un choc entre les deux cultures dont il est issu, mais au-delà de ce que cela engendre de drôle ou de douloureux, le jeune homme finira par dépasser tout ce qui sépare pour découvrir ce qui réunit...

This is a story of four friends & school buddies. Out of them, only Ashim is an earning person, he is a doctor. Earlier, they started a Bangla Band, where Hari was the lead singer, but they were heavily thrashed by the public in a stage show in North Bengal. They decided not to sing any more. Then they started a traveling agency. On their first trip, they start the journey with only 9 passengers and a girl who later joins them. The film deals with their journey via Kalimpong. The ten passengers are of ten different types and also the four tour operators are of four different natures. As the journey progresses, their characters were revealed one by one.

his Bengali film is about the increasing migrations of young people outside the city of Calcutta, looking for better opportunities.
