Chandhanaraju is a prince whose life is preserved within the necklace he wears. He should overcome several hurdles to marry his dream girl.

Once upon a time, there was a kingdom Udayagiri, its king (Mukkamala) has two sons Pratap (N. T. Rama Rao) a valiant man and Jagajithu (Lanka Satyam), a poltroon man that envies his brother. Pratap's life ambition is to couple up with Devakanyas the angels Jayanthi/Indrakumari (B. Saroja Devi), Nagini/Nagakumari (L. Vijayalakshmi), Varuni/Varunakumari (Jayanthi), and Marichi/Agnikumari (Bala). Upon knowing this, the angered king ostracizes him from the country.

Ramu is an innocent son of a rich landlord who is afraid of his brother-in-law Narendran and his whiplash. To escape from his punishments, Ramu leaves his house and his look-alike replaces him. Enga Veettu Pillai is a remake of NTR’s Ramudu Bheemudu 1963 Telugu movie. Both are directed by same director Tapi Chanakya

Bhama Vijayam is a 1967 Indian Telugu-language swashbuckler film, produced by Somasekhar and Radha Krishna, and directed by C.Pulliah. It stars N. T. Rama Rao and Devika, with music composed by T. V. Raju. The film is based on Gollabhama (1947) which itself is based on the stories of Kaasi Majililu written in Telugu by Madhira Subbanna Deekshitulu.

Rao and Mary, unemployed college graduates from Madras, act as if they are a married couple to get jobs as schoolteachers in the small village of Appapuram. Their story unfolds into an extremely hilarious comedy as they try to cover up that Mary is a christian. During the days of the Vijayanagara Empire there was a system to bring willing women to the royal palace and render them official residents. This was called 'Rani Vasam'. According to this royal tradition, they sent palanquins to their houses, after they presented the family with gifts and jewelry. These Rani Vasam women should never have any contact with any man or let any man see them without permission. If any one violated the law, they were beheaded. Malleswari (Bhanumathi) was taken to this Rani Vasam. She was forced to accept this, for lure of money and jewelry by her parents. But she was already in love with her 'Bava' Nagaraju (N.T. Rama Rao), a sculptor. He stealthily got into the garden of the palace to meet his beloved and was caught. He was to get the death penalty. Krishnadevaraya for once pardoned the hero and allowed Malleswari to go with him.

Ramudu and Bheemudu are look-alikes who are both fed up of their respective lives. They incidentally end up taking each other's place in their homes, which leads to hilarious consequences.

After the Pandavas are forcefully exiled by their enemies, they must get together and fight back in order to reclaim their land.

Following the death of his ruthless landlord father, Ayyu earns the wrath of his villagers. But his biggest enemy is Gulla, who tries to stand against him in order to protect the locals.

A king Parthiban (Ramadas) gifts a rare anklet (salangai) to a dancer Aparajita (Kumari Madhuri). She begets the king's son, Amarendran and hands him over to a priest along with the anklet. Amarendran also happens to meet a beautiful singer Shantha (Savithri), who falls in love with her and this plot forms the rest of the story.

Balarama promises Subhadra that he'll marry his daughter to her son. But when the Pandavas loses their kingdom to the Kauravas, Balarama breaks his promise.
