The film tells a story about the problems that come from playing “judi buntut” (a type of lottery gambling). People start to think and act irrationally. In the end the police comes to set things straight.

Three thugs rape a young woman named Yayah in a shack. Immediately afterward, she gets raped by her own boyfriend who's aroused by her naked body. And then her mom dies. And then she loses her job. And then she finds out she's pregnant by one of her rapists. Needless to say, Yayah loses it, goes on a rampage and then has to be put down. However, her vengeful spirit lives on.

Some rich gangster creep rapes a gal. He's imbued with black magic powers by some other guy. Stuff happens leading up to the greatest endgame of all time.

A diamond mine in the village is the source of competition between Kosim and Dorman, who are the first ones to find it. They hope to win the position as head of the village. Dorman believes that the soul of his ancestor, Alberto Dominique, who is buried there, will help him achieve his ambition.

This was one of the more insightful teenage films that understood teenage psychology and was also optmistic in a realistic way.

The fish is found by Komar, a poor farmer who lives with his mother. Ship owner and black magic disciple, Darsi has long wanted to marry Komar, but Komar chooses to marry the fish. Darsi intends to destroy both of them with her black magic until finally, Nyi Roro Kidul intervenes to save them.
