Pour célébrer ses trente ans de carrière, le guitariste et chanteur Kai Hansen, fondateur d’Helloween, Gamma Ray et Unisonic, a eu une bien meilleure idée que de sortir un simple best of. Il a choisi à la place d’enregistrer son premier album solo aux paroles autobiographiques pour lequel il s’est entouré de quelques uns de ses meilleurs amis dans le métier. Mais avant la sortie de ce disque intitulé XXX- Three Decades In Metal en septembre 2016, le musicien avait choisi la scène du Wacken Festival pour donner le seul concert de ce concept anniversaire le 5 août 2017.

En annonçant une tournée de reformation près de trente ans après le départ de Kai Hansen et plus de vingt ans après celui de Michal Kiske, Helloween a rendu tangible le fantasme de nombreux fans du groupe venus au nombre de 75.000 pour ce show mémorable.

On August 4th, Helloween took their "Pumpkins United World Tour" to the twenty-ninth edition of the world's largest heavy metal festival, Wacken Open Air, and performed one of the biggest and most important shows in the band's history.

One of the biggest names in melodic speed metal in the world at Rock in Rio 2019. Helloween is a band that has revolutionized metal with their striking choruses and fantastic riffs. On the current PUMPKINS UNITED tour, something happened that all fans have always dreamed of: Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen have teamed up with Weikath and Grosskopf to play the band's great classics.
