A luxury hotel in the capital of Madrid is the target of an international terrorist group to carry out an attack that will serve as a loudspeaker in front of the Western world. Employees and clients of the hotel, policemen, politicians and artists, will be involved in a series of dramatic events that will jeopardize the stability of the country. The police commissioner Javier Gallardo will have to take charge of the difficult mission of dismantling the terrorist cell before the imminent attack takes place, although he will be forced to question the orders of the recently appointed Minister of the Interior, thus uncovering secret relationships in the shadows.

After their father is institutionalized, the two women take over the family business, which specializes in precision optics. One day, the floor of the music room collapses after being ravaged by termites. Karoly, a Hungarian refugeee and jack-of-all-trades, is hired to repair the damage. The Hungarian's presence causes ripples in the seemingly unchangeable life of the two sisters...

C’est l’histoire d‘un amour total entre César et Paz. Paz, photographe espagnole, nourrit une soif de rencontres, d’expériences et de voyages, alors que César, ex-grand reporter de guerre, souhaite à l’inverse s’extraire du tumulte du monde. Paz est enceinte, cette perspective l’angoisse, l’étouffe. Elle semble s’éloigner chaque jour un peu plus de César, comme obsédée par quelque chose qui lui échappe. Jusqu’au jour où elle disparait, laissant son enfant et César sans véritable explication.
