Bogusław Danielewski

Dans un avion à destination de Paris, Felicia, une célèbre actrice polonaise, se remémore les dernières années de sa vie. Elle se rappelle de la Seconde guerre mondiale pendant laquelle elle a dû, au prix de nombreux sacrifices, cacher l’homme qu’elle aimait de la Gestapo. Sa lutte acharnée pour le sauver l’a conduit jusqu’à collaborer avec l’ennemi, ce dont elle devra répondre une fois la guerre terminée.

A subjective adaptation of a well-known autobiographical novel by Zbigniew Unilowski (screenplay by Wojciech Jerzy Has with dialogues by Stanislaw Dygat). The adventures of the tenants of a sublet room in a Warsaw townhouse inhabited mostly by students and novice writers, presented against the social context of the 1930s.
