Dirigé avec entrain par Robert Grant, le Majestic, un superbe palace, se prépare à son célèbre bal annuel. La propriétaire, la tyrannique Mme Dubrow, espère bien décrocher une 6ème étoile au guide des plus beaux palaces du monde. Les deux fils de Robert Grant ne pensent qu'à s'amuser, ils perturbent un peu les préparatifs pour le bal.
