Miles is sent to therapy by his parents, as the couple believes their son has a problem with drugs. During the therapy session the story takes a turnaround.

Deux enfants, Daniel et Sophia, trouvent Nick, un vieillard ressemblant au Père Noël et le conduisent à l'hôpital, là où travaille leur mère. Lorsqu'il découvre que le père de Sophia et Daniel a disparu le jour de Noël, Nick envisage de rester dans cette famille pour lui apporter un peu de bonheur...

In a dystopian future, the last human is raised by a machine. He struggles with the loneliness of no human interaction and questions the teachings of a mysterious religious 'Manual' which the machine claims is holy.
