In the land of Israel, Solomon (Jimmy Smits) is trying to figure out a way to become the world’s supplier of frankincense. He sends an envoy to the tiny country of Sheba to announce his intentions. The Queen of Sheba, Nikaule (Halle Berry), is outraged by Solomon’s greedy plan.

Giovanni Bertone a former colonel, is a fraudster who extorts money from the families of the Nazi-Fascist prisoners. He promises them their freedom. Discovered by Colonel Muller he is offered a pact: to save his life, he must go to Milan with a false identity to discover the members belonging to the Resistance.

When Terry (Grantham) is sentenced to a twenty-year stretch for a murder he did not commit, his wife Sam (Dobson) discovers that his apparently respectable business life has in fact been a cover for a vast criminal empire - drugs, protection, armed robbery, he was involved in it all. After the initial shock of the discovery has passed, Sam finds herself faced with a clear problem: should she leave it all behind, forget Terry and start her life afresh, or should she take charge of the business in her husband's absence?

A pediatrician and an overseas doctor, meet at a wedding in Philadelphia, but the long distance, family, and their friends may hinder their budding romance.
