Au coeur de l'été 1968, il souffle un vent de liberté sur Osnabrück, dans le Nord de l'Allemagne. Les durs conflits entre les pensionnaires s'ajoutent aux brimades des frères. Loin d'étouffer la volonté d'émancipation du jeune homme, ce quotidien exacerbe sa révolte contre l'ordre établi et contre les adultes...
