Another film from the TV series "Polish Holidays", this time illustrating a holiday not entirely Polish, but already firmly rooted in the native reality - Valentine's Day. The script for it was written by Jerzy Pilch. For the famous writer, winner of the Nike Award, this is the second encounter with this cycle: earlier he wrote the script for the excellent "Yellow Scarf". His collaboration with director Janusz Majewski resulted in a story full of humor and charm, treating love with a slight wink of the eye and a touch of nostalgia. Wojciech Malajkat, who also played the main role, is a great merit.

A story about love and hatred, about those who cheat and who are cheated, about violence and sex and surprising secrets which we learn within these strange twenty four hours.

A father and son work to make their bistro, "Rock'n'Roll Edek", the talk of their town, with some help from their oddball friends.

Joanna est une jeune femme typique qui travaille pour une grande entreprise dans une grande ville. Elle mène une vie décontractée, n'aime pas créer de liens, mais aime s'amuser. Un jour, elle entreprend de s'occuper des deux enfants de son amie Elizabeth. Tout bascule lorsque son amie meurt dans un accident de voiture et que Joanna devient tutrice temporaire, contrainte d'abandonner son mode de vie actuel.
