Amba is studying in 12th standard while her mother, Swati is a school teacher & father is not doing any work due to loss in business. In depression father becomes alcoholic & doubts his wife's extra marital affair with a colleague of hers. Things go out of way when Amba's father dies. A family friend & neighbor take charge for all family responsibility of Amba. Incidentally Amba builds up a relation with this neighbor's husband & one day Amba marries a NRI & settles in U.K. The life of Amba changes when she comes back to India to visit her mother & witnesses an unexpected turn in all their lives to find the new relations & its complications.
